Sachin Tendulkar, who was playing his last first class match
for his domestic team, Mumbai in Ranji Trophy against Haryana at Lahli, Rohtak, powered
his team to a emphatic win. After failing to make any statement in first
innings where he got out on 5 runs. He had only one more chance to sign off his career in his domestic competition in 2nd
innings.
In 2nd innings Mumbai
needed 240 to win the match but that wasn't a east target on Lahli pitch. bu
the retiring legend almost single-handedly guided Mumbai to a four-wicket victory,
scoring an unbeaten 79, in one of the most keenly followed matches in the
history of Ranji Trophy, on Tuesday.

Mumbai Captain and his team mate of India Zaheer
khan told after the match that “It’s
important for Sachin and considering the two Tests against the West Indies next
month, this has given him much-needed practice. And remember, Haryana has got a
good attack and they bowled a disciplined attack,”
"He himself gifts himself... His knock
made a difference, whoever has seen the game would know. He was not out till
the end ... That means he would have made more runs if required," Haryana
skipper Jadeja told.
On a lighter note, Jadeja asked who can fight
with the `God`!
"I call him the master but you all call him the `God`! ... Tell me who can fight with `God`," Jadeja asked.
