Indian selectors had announced the squad for South Africa
on Monday. India will playing three ODI's and two test matches in this tour.

While this selection bring some joy to Senior paceman Zaheer Khan there was no relief for Opener, Gautam Gambhir, who had scored a century in domestic game, was ignored by selectors as the opening slot are very much stable at this time.
Zaheer Khan, who last played a Test match against England in Kolkata in December 2012, has been among wickets in Ranji Trophy where he scalps 13 wickets at an average of 19.84. Ambati Rayudu has also made the Test squad for the first time in his career. He has been picked as a reserve batsman.
"His (Gambhir) name was discussed, in fact, we discussed a lot of things. Even skipper MS Dhoni was consulted and all the players were selected unanimously," BCCI Secretary Sanjay Patel said after the selection committee meeting.
